Description
StarTech.com active USB Type-C cable, in its 3 m black cable variant, connects devices with USB Power Delivery of up to 60 W and a maximum data transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s, equivalent to 10 Gbit/s. Its two straight male connectors make connection at both ends easy, while 29 AWG gauge and mylar aluminium foil shielding protect the signal over long runs. It supports USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode with DisplayPort 1.4 version, which allows video to be carried with HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. The connector contacts are nickel-plated, a useful detail for continuous use. Weighing 400 g, this active cable is suitable for desktop setups where the distance between the computer and the peripheral is long.
