Description
Connect serial port devices to a computer with this StarTech.com USB to serial adapter, featuring a male DB-9 connector and a male USB Type-A connector, both with a straight form factor. The 0.91 m cable provides enough reach to link PLCs, printers or scanners with a COM port. Its Prolific PL2303RA chipset handles the conversion with a transfer rate of up to 921.6 Kbit/s and supports 5, 6, 7 or 8 data bit configurations, 1, 1.5 or 2 stop bits and DTR/DSR, RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF flow control. The USB 2.0 version ensures compatibility with Windows and Mac computers. The adapter, in black, measures 45 x 16 x 34 mm, width x height x depth, and weighs 39.2 g, making it lightweight and easy to carry. It supports a storage temperature range of -20 to 100 °C and a relative humidity of between 20 and 80 %.
