Description
The StarTech.com ST1000SPEXD4T network card is an internal adapter with a PCI Express host interface that is installed in a PC or server to expand its network connections. It features two RJ-45 Ethernet LAN ports, so it allows two different network cables to be connected from a single card. It handles Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over wired connection, with transfer speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s and a maximum of 1000 Mbit/s. Its Realtek RTL8111H chipset and support for 9000 Jumbo frames contribute to stable performance in demanding environments. It complies with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x standards, and includes IEEE Auto MDIX for automatic cable detection. Its LED indicators show the activity and link status of each port. It has a black colour, dimensions of 61 x 18 x 75 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 47 g, so it takes up little space inside the computer.
