Description
The StarTech.com 2-port PoE network card adds 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to a PC or server via a PCI Express host interface. It features the Intel I225-V chipset and offers two RJ-45 Ethernet LAN ports with Power over Ethernet, so it can power compatible devices through the network cable itself. It reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 2500 Mbit/s and is compatible with Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, as well as supporting speeds of 10, 100, 1000 and 2500 Mbit/s. The connection is wired and it adds features such as VLAN support, QoS, full duplex, IEEE Auto MDIX and 9000 Jumbo frames. It complies with PCI version 2.0 and its dimensions are 121 x 22 x 180 mm (width x height x depth), with a weight of 111 g.
