Description
The ATEN DVI and audio over Cat 5 extender, in black, works as a transmitter and receiver of AV signals to carry video and sound from one device to another via network cabling. It uses Cat5e cables and supports resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 pixels, with compatibility with 1080i and 1080p video modes. The connection is wired and the set offers DVI inputs and outputs, as well as RJ-45 ports and an audio output. It supports HDCP, so you can play protected content without problems between the source and the destination. Its 100 Ω impedance and 225 MHz bandwidth allow the signal to be carried stably along the installed run. The casing is metal, which provides robustness to the installation, and each unit weighs 490 g. It is supplied in a pack of 2 units, with the transmitter and receiver ready to deploy the installation.
