The Allied Telesis AT-AR2050V-50 firewall is a network security device that offers a firewall throughput of 0.75 Gbit/s. It features a dual-core 800 MHz processor and 512 MB of internal memory, with an IPS/IDS throughput of 200 Mbit/s and VPN throughput of 0.4 Gbit/s. It supports up to 50 VPN tunnels and security algorithms such as 3DES, 128, 192 and 256-bit AES, SHA-1, SHA-2 and SSH. Its connectivity is wired, with an Ethernet WAN connection (RJ-45), one Ethernet LAN port (RJ-45) and two USB 2.0 ports. It supports BGP and IP routing protocols, as well as multicast, DHCP server and quality of service (QoS). Its management is web-based. Weighing 1.8 kg, it is a compact option for environments requiring traffic control and perimeter security.
