Description
The white QNAP QSW-M408-2C managed switch is an L2 layer network solution designed to expand and segment installations with bandwidth demands. It offers eight 10G Ethernet RJ-45 ports (100/1000/10000), all of them Gigabit Ethernet over copper, and adds two SFP+ module slots with fibre optic connector plus two SFP combo ports, as well as an RJ-45 console port for managing the device. It supports Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 cable types, and includes auto-negotiation, full duplex, flow control and spanning tree protocol. Its administration is carried out via web and includes quality of service QoS and virtual LAN functions with Port-based VLAN and Private VLAN. Its dimensions are 290 x 42.5 x 127 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight is 1.15 kg, a compact format that fits into racks and communications cabinets.
