Description
The NETGEAR SFP+ DirectAttach cable is a 1 m cable designed to link equipment with SFP+ connectors within a network installation. Both ends are male and fitted with SFP+ connectors, so it plugs directly into the corresponding ports of switches, servers and network cards. The connector contacts are silver-plated, a finish that favours continuity at each contact during prolonged use. As it is a 1 m cable, it is suitable for connecting devices close to each other, such as equipment mounted in the same rack or in adjacent cabinets, without excess cable along the way. It also supports the InfiniBand protocol, so it can be integrated into high-performance environments that work with this standard. Its direct-attach connection format simplifies assembly, as it requires no intermediate pieces between both ends.
