Description

The INTEL SAS cable is a 0.8 m cable designed to link storage components within the chassis. It features an SFF8643 connector at each end, so both sides of the link are handled with the same type of terminal. It is intended for use with the R1000WT system, with which it is compatible according to the manufacturer's specifications. Its cable length, 0.8 m, offers sufficient scope to run through the interior of the equipment and organise the cabling between the drives and the controller. As it is a Serial Attached SCSI connection, the cable is aimed at professional storage environments, where stability of the connection and internal tidiness are paramount. Its installation does not require special tools beyond those needed for mounting the system. It is a replacement or expansion part useful for anyone already working with the R1000WT and needing an additional link.
