Description
The Ewent IM1190 network cable is a black Cat8.1 patch cable, designed to connect equipment with male RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Its S/FTP (S-STP) construction combines pair shielding and overall braiding, which strengthens transmission against interference in dense installations. The connector contacts are gold-plated, a detail that helps maintain signal quality in repeated connections. The conductor is stranded copper with 26/7 gauge and reaches a data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s. It handles a frequency of up to 2000 MHz, a wide margin for demanding network applications. The jacket is halogen-free and the cable has a round shape with an outer diameter of 8.2 mm, which facilitates its routing and organisation. With this 2 m cable you cover short distances between switch, router or end device without excess cabling.
