Description
The Zyxel WAX655E is a white access point measuring 256 x 70 x 257 mm (width x height x depth) and weighing 1.36 kg. It offers a maximum data transfer speed of 4800 Mbit/s and operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with up to 575 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz band. It incorporates Multi User MIMO and is compatible with the IEEE 802.11a, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and 802.11n standards. Its RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port supports speeds of 1000 and 2500 Mbit/s, and power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE), with a maximum consumption of 25.5 W. In terms of security it supports WEP, WPA2, WPA2-PSK and WPA3 algorithms, as well as MAC address filtering. Management is done via web and allows firmware updates, and it includes VLAN and Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM)/(WME) support.
