The Synology RX418 is a multi-bay disk expansion unit in 1U rack format, finished in black and grey, supplied without drives installed and with a total storage capacity of 0 TB, although it supports up to 56 TB distributed across its four hot-swap bays. Compatible with HDD and SSD drives with SATA, SATA II, or SATA III interfaces, this device connects via an eSATA port and is designed for Synology server models such as the RS1219+, RS818(RP)+, RS815(RP)+, RS816, or RS815. It features three fans to maintain adequate cooling with a noise level of 25.1 dB, and its internal power supply provides 100 W to sustain the continuous operation of the drives you install.
