Description
The StarTech.com USB-C to serial adapter connects modern computers to devices that still use a serial port. It joins a straight male USB C connector to a straight male DB-9 connector, so you can link PLCs, scanners or printers with an RS232 port. It features a 0.4 m cable, a practical length to bridge the distance between the computer and the peripheral without leaving lots of loose cable. Its Prolific PL2303RA chipset handles the signal conversion between both formats. The adapter is compatible with Mac OS X 13.0 Ventura, as well as working on Windows and Linux. It comes in black, a discreet tone that blends well into any setup. Its weight of 36 g makes it a lightweight and easy-to-carry accessory. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and an operating relative humidity of 0 to 65%.
