Description
OM4 multimode fibre optic cable from StarTech.com, in violet and with LC to LC connectors, designed for high-capacity data links. Its uniboot construction concentrates both LC connectors into a single sheath, which simplifies installation in racks and narrow conduits. The cable measures 40 m and supports transfer speeds of up to 100 Gbit/s, with support for wavelengths of 850 and 1300 nm. The fibre features a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding diameter, with PC connector polishing and full duplex operation. The PVC jacket is round and offers OFNR Riser rating, suitable for vertical installations inside buildings. With a weight of 277.5 g, it is manageable during assembly. It has CE and RoHS certificates of conformity. It is a practical solution for expanding network infrastructure in data centres and communications cabinets.
