Its 24 AWG stranded copper conductor transmits data at a speed of 1000 Mbit/s over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) technology, with a frequency of 650 MHz. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket protects the cable in standard-use installations, while the gold plating on the contacts helps maintain a stable connection. It features a snagless connector boot and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself.
