Description
The Gembird is a USB grabber that captures HDMI video at a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz, maintaining a smooth refresh rate in its compatible video modes, including 1080p. Its HDMI input port features pass-through, allowing the original signal to be passed to an additional HDMI output while recording, and it has HDCP version 1.4 support to play protected content. This device with a right-angle USB connector form factor connects via a USB 2.0 type A port, draws a current of 0.4 A and requires a 5 V DC input power supply. The built-in LED indicators report the operating status during the capture process, and the cable has an AWG gauge of 26.
