Description
Connect copper and fibre networks with the DIGITUS bidirectional Gigabit media converter, a device with an RJ45 and SC interface operating over 9/125 µm single-mode fibre. It achieves data transfer speeds of 1000 Mbit/s and a maximum distance of 20 kilometres, thanks to its wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) with 1310 nm emission. This model supports IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3z standards, as well as auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDI-X and full or half duplex mode, with link loss return and forwarding. Its cabling technology includes 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-TX for the electrical side, while the optical side uses 1000BASE-LX, all integrated into a Gigabit Ethernet system.
