Description
The D-Link DES-1008PA switch is an unmanaged black device that expands your local network with eight copper RJ-45 Fast Ethernet (10/100) ports. It incorporates Power over Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 802.3af, so you can connect access points or network cameras and power them through the data cable itself. Its switching capacity reaches 1.6 Gbit/s and its MAC address table supports 1000 entries. It works with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x standards, with flow control, half-duplex and full duplex transmission, and an auto MDI/MDI-X function that resolves the cable type automatically. It stores and forwards packets with a 0.09 MB buffer memory. Its LED indicators show the status of the LAN, the PoE power and the current. With dimensions of 170.2 x 27.9 x 99.1 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 454 g, it can be placed without difficulty in any installation.
