Description
The Allied Telesis AT-MMC2000/SC-60 media converter, in silver, transforms the signal between fibre optic and copper cable to integrate equipment from different networks. It offers a maximum transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and works with Gigabit Ethernet, as well as supporting speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s. Its fibre optic connector is SC, with a wavelength of 850 nm over multimode fibre, which allows a maximum transfer distance of 500 m to be reached. The connection is made with cable and it has an RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port, making it useful for linking fibre sections with the local network. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.1Q standard for tagged network management. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and a storage temperature range of -30 to 70 °C, so it withstands varied installation conditions. Its dimensions are 54.9 x 21.8 x 101.6 mm (width x height x depth) and it weighs 170 g.
