The Allied Telesis AT-MC101XL media converter transforms signals between Fast Ethernet and fibre optic to integrate copper cable and fibre runs into the same network. It offers a maximum data transfer rate of 100 Mbit/s and combines 100Base-TX UTP cabling technology with 100Base-FX F. It features an RJ-45 port with MDI/MDI-X detection and a 100Base-FX ST port, making it easy to connect devices and fibre links. It reaches a maximum transfer distance of 2000 m, ideal for extending the network between separate locations. It is compatible with IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.1Q standards and allows full duplex operation for simultaneous traffic. Its power consumption is 6 W, with 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz power supply, and its weight of 294 g, with dimensions of 104.6 x 95.25 x 25.4 mm, make it a compact device.
