Description
The TP-Link TL-MR6500v router in black combines 4G mobile connectivity with a wired or Wi-Fi home network. Its SIM card slot and compatibility with 3G/4G USB modems allow an internet connection to be established in locations without fibre or ADSL. It also includes an RJ-45 WAN port for use with a conventional Ethernet router or modem, offering flexibility in the type of network. On the 2.4 GHz band it reaches a transfer rate of up to 300 Mbit/s, sufficient for browsing and streaming on several devices. It supports 802.11a/b/g/n standards and allows a guest network to be created to separate the main traffic. For advanced users, it features port forwarding, port triggering, static routes and a VPN server with support for PPTP and OpenVPN, as well as 10 VPN tunnels.
