Description
Connect this StarTech.com PWM splitter cable to power fans from the motherboard. It has a 4-pin male Molex connector at one end and a 4-pin female Molex connector at the other, a configuration that allows the power signal to be distributed among several PWM fans. The 0.31 m cable offers sufficient slack to organise the inside of the case without straining the connectors, and its multicoloured design helps identify each wire during assembly. Weighing 8 g, it barely adds any load to the installation and does not interfere with airflow or the rest of the components. This type of splitter is practical when the motherboard has fewer fan headers than fans you want to install, as it multiplies the connection points without the need for additional adapters. The construction with 4-pin Molex connectors guarantees compatibility with standard PWM fans.
