Description
Connect up to two serial and one parallel peripheral to your computer with this low-profile PCIe adapter card from StarTech.com, featuring RS-232 outputs and an included breakout cable for easy installation. It incorporates the ASIX MCS9901CV-CC integrated circuit and supports data transfer rates of up to 230.4 Kbit/s, as well as EPP and ECP modes for the parallel port. The card, in black and silver, supports data bits from 5 to 8, various parity options, and a 256 B PEPS buffer, operating within a humidity range of 5% to 85% and storage temperatures between -40 and 85 °C. Certified with CE, FCC, and REACH, this internal solution expands connectivity for motherboards with a PCIe host interface.
