Description
The TP-Link Omada EAP615-WALL access point, in white and with dimensions of 143 x 20 x 86 mm, is designed for wall mounting and to provide wifi coverage in specific rooms. It operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with a maximum data transfer speed of 1774 Mbit/s, split into 574 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbit/s in the 5 GHz band. It incorporates MIMO, Multi User MIMO and BeamForming, technologies that optimise the signal towards connected devices, and adds band steering and automatic channel selection to distribute the load between bands without manual intervention. Its Ethernet LAN connectivity supports speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s under 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology, and it is powered via Power over Ethernet, which simplifies installation by not requiring an additional power socket.
