Description
The StarTech.com audio splitter converts one USB Type-C output into two 3.5 mm jacks, so two people can connect their headsets with microphone at the same time. The USB Type-C connector is male and the two 3.5 mm jacks are female, so the signal is shared with a single cable connection. Its external 24-bit DAC handles the audio conversion, and the whole unit is covered by a thermoplastic elastomer TPE jacket. The adapter is grey, weighs 19 g and measures 114 mm in length, 27 mm in width and 8 mm in thickness, with a 0.07 m cable. The connector contacts are aluminium-plated and the product is FCC certified. Thanks to its small size and low weight, it is easy to carry in a laptop case and to use on any desktop or meeting table.
