Description
Connect network equipment at 40 Gbit/s with the StarTech.com QSFP+ AOC cable, a 10 m black cable that joins two male QSFP+ ports to link switches, servers and transceiver modules. Its active optical fibre construction maintains the signal along the entire run, suitable for racks and rooms where the distance between ports demands a stable heartbeat. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket protects the cabling in fixed installations. It also supports the InfiniBand protocol, so it fits both 40 GbE Ethernet environments and high-performance deployments. Its weight of 168 g facilitates handling during assembly. It allows operation within an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a storage range of -40 to 80 °C. It has CE and FCC certification, as well as REACH and RoHS compliance.
