Description
StarTech.com SFP+ transceiver module compatible with HPE J9153D, designed for fibre optic links in 10 Gigabit ethernet networks. It works with 10GBASE-ER technology over single mode fibre, reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and covers distances of up to 40000 m with a wavelength of 1550 nm. It features an LC fibre optic connector and has Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) to track the link status. Its hot-swap format allows it to be replaced with the equipment running, and its power consumption stays at 1.6 W. The housing is silver in colour, with dimensions of 58.4 x 13.7 x 13.9 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 24 g, so it takes up hardly any space in the chassis. It is designed for HP equipment using reference J9153D, so it fits into installations where that transceiver is already in use.
