Description
The StarTech.com ATX power extension cable, in multicolour, allows the power supply connection to the motherboard to be extended when the distance between the two is not enough. It is a 0.203 m cable with 24-pin male and female ATX connectors, both with a straight form factor, so it fits directly without the need for intermediate adapters. Its main function is to gain those extra centimetres inside the case, something common in builds where the power supply is far from the motherboard connector. The 24-pin connectors maintain the ATX 2.01 standard, making it compatible with power supplies and motherboards that follow this configuration. The assembly weighs 76 g, a figure that reflects the lightness of the cable itself and adds hardly any load to the build.
