Description
Connect serial devices to your equipment via the StarTech.com 8-port USB hub, a solution designed to expand RS-232 connectivity in professional environments. Its USB 2.0 host interface allows the hub to be linked to the computer, while its 8 RS-232 ports make it easy to manage several serial peripherals at the same time. The casing is aluminium in black, with dimensions of 120 x 45 x 430 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 1.36 kg, which gives it robustness on the desk or in the rack. It incorporates LED indicators to show the operating status and a terminal block port for wiring. As for the power supply, it supports an input voltage of 100 - 240 V with a type B plug and delivers an output of 12 V, with a maximum consumption of 36 W and an output current of 3 A.
