Description
StarTech.com USB to Serial Adapter in black, measuring 35 x 13 x 420 mm and weighing 30 g, which connects a USB 2.0 A port to a DB-9 male connector to provide a serial port for devices that lack one. It features the Texas Instruments TIUSB3410 chipset and reaches a transmission speed of 230.4 Kbit/s, with a 32 B FIFO buffer to manage data flow. The 0.42 m cable facilitates connection without taking up unnecessary space, and the plastic housing protects the electronics in daily use. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, as well as Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2016. It supports an operating temperature range of -10 to 80 °C and a storage temperature range of -20 to 100 °C, with a relative humidity of between 5 and 85 %. It holds CE and FCC certification and complies with the RoHS directive.
