The StarTech.com Cat6 Ethernet cable comes in a cable length of 5 m and grey colour, with male RJ-45 connectors at both ends and gold-plated contacts that favour stable transmission. Its copper conductor and 24 AWG gauge sustain 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance, with a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and a frequency of 650 MHz. The halogen-free (LSZH) jacket is suitable for installations where reducing smoke emission in the event of fire is advisable. The round shape of the cable and the U/UTP (UTP) shielding complete a set designed for structured network cabling. It incorporates a protective boot for the connector, which helps preserve the contacts during frequent connections and disconnections. As it is Plug and Play compatible, it is enough to plug in each end to start working. All of this in a network cable weighing 195 g.
