Description
The 1 m StarTech.com USB-C cable works as a hybrid adapter: it connects two USB-C devices to reach 10 Gbit/s with USB 3.2 Gen 2 or connects a USB-A device at 5 Gbit/s, making it useful with hybrid docking stations. Its black colour and polyvinyl chloride jacket protect the conductor, while mylar aluminium foil shielding reduces signal interference. Both connectors are straight-format male USB-C and support connection in any orientation. With USB Power Delivery 3.0, the cable supplies up to 100 W of power to charge compatible laptops and peripherals. Its 54 g weight and compact format make it easy to carry in a backpack or device case. The 1 m length provides enough slack to connect without strain on tight desks, and the sustained transfer rate speeds up the transfer of large files.
