Description
The STARTECH.COM PCI Express adapter card adds two RS-232 serial ports to your equipment via a PCIe 1.1 host interface. It incorporates the ASIX MCS9922CV-AA chipset and reaches a transmission speed of 460.8 Kbit/s, with 128 B FIFO memory to manage incoming and outgoing data. It supports DTR/DSR, RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF flow control, so you can adjust communication according to the devices connected to each port. Its low-profile internal format is suitable for compact cases, and the assembly weighs 63.5 g with dimensions of 80 x 20 x 105 mm (width x height x depth). The green colour of the circuit and its 4-pin Molex peripheral power connector complete the installation inside the chassis. It operates in an operating temperature range of -10 to 80 °C and supports Linux systems, as well as DOS and Windows XP Embedded.
