Description
Connects network equipment with the StarTech.com fibre optic adapter cable, an orange duplex multimode patch cord with 1 m cable that links ports with LC and ST connectors. Its OM2 construction combines a 50 µm core with a 125 µm cladding, standard measurements in multimode fibre installations. It supports a data transfer speed of 10 Gbit/s, suitable for demanding network links. Both connectors are male, which facilitates direct connection to the corresponding ports. Transmission is full duplex, so traffic flows in both directions through the same patch cord. Its halogen-free jacket (LSZH) is designed for environments where reducing smoke emission is advisable. The product weighs 28 g and supports an operating and storage temperature range of -20 to 60 °C. It has CE certification and REACH and RoHS certificates of conformity.
