The StarTech.com CAT6 Ethernet network cable is a slim red 10 m patch cord, designed for installations where space is tight. Its straight male RJ-45 connectors fit standard network equipment, and the snagless design protects the retaining tab when the cable is pulled. The 28 AWG stranded copper conductor and gold-plated contacts support reliable transmission under the IEEE 802.3bt standard. It supports PoE++ with a budget of up to 100 W, so it can power devices such as access points or cameras through the cable itself. The halogen-free jacket provides greater safety in the event of a fire. It is Plug and Play compatible and supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, which simplifies its use in home and professional environments.
