Description
The StarTech.com network galvanic isolator protects your equipment against power surges and electrostatic discharges in Ethernet installations. It is a black coupler with a single RJ45 port that supports speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s, so you can maintain Gigabit performance without compromising on protection. Its plastic housing, with an IP40 protection rating and a 4 kV isolation capacity against contact discharges, makes it suitable for industrial environments and control cabinets. Measuring 67 x 24 x 33 mm and weighing 31 g, it is very compact and mounts on a DIN rail while taking up hardly any space. It withstands operating temperatures of -10 to 70 °C and storage temperatures of -40 to 85 °C, as well as a relative humidity of between 10 and 90 %.
