Description
The black StarTech.com panel-mount USB 2.0 cable connects a female USB A port to the motherboard and provides easy access to a USB socket on the outside of the equipment. With its two female ends, the 0.3 m cable is suitable for installations where the run between the panel and the board is short. Its panel-mount format allows the connection to be secured to the casing and keeps the port accessible for connecting peripherals without opening the computer. The assembly weighs 23 g, so it barely adds any load to the chassis structure. The short length helps to keep the interior of the tower tidy and prevents surplus cable runs that could obstruct ventilation or the fitting of other components.
