Description
EWENT IM1224 network cable in blue, supplied on a 305 m cable reel. It is a Cat6a category cable with U/UTP (UTP) shielding, designed for structured network cabling requiring high performance. Its solid copper conductor, with AWG 23/1 gauge, and its 500 MHz frequency allow it to reach a data transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s. The round shape of the cable facilitates its installation in trunking and conduits, while the halogen-free jacket (LSZH) and the Eca fire protection class contribute to suitable fire behaviour in enclosed environments. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows network devices such as access points or IP cameras to be powered through the cable itself.
