Description
The Ewent EC1432 video cable adapter, in black, connects a device with DisplayPort output to a screen or projector with a standard HDMI type A input. Its two connectors are male and straight, so they plug in directly without the need for intermediate parts. The 3 m cable offers enough slack to carry the signal from the tower to the television or monitor without it being taut. As it is a video adapter, it transmits image and supports compatible video modes of up to 2160p, as well as 3D content. It is also compatible with HDCP and with DisplayPort content protection, which allows protected material to be played back without issues. The DisplayPort 1.2 version of the source connector fits devices that include this output. It is a practical solution for connecting a computer to a screen with an HDMI input when the distance between the two calls for several metres of cable.
