Description
The ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste from ARCTIC COOLING is a heat-dissipating compound designed to improve thermal transfer between the surface of a component and the heatsink that cools it. It comes in a 8 g weight format, enough to apply in several maintenance operations or for repeated assemblies. Its grey colour allows it to be spread visibly and to check that the layer covers the entire contact area without excess. This compound is indicated for use on processors, chipsets and other elements that require efficient thermal contact with their cooling system. It is applied by spreading a thin film over the surface of the component before fixing the heatsink, so that the micro-irregularities of the metal are eliminated. Its consistency makes uniform spreading easy with the spatula or with the pressure of the heatsink itself when mounting it.
