Description
AISENS network cable in grey and 15 m in length, designed to link equipment within a Gigabit Ethernet installation. Its Cat6 construction with U/UTP (UTP) shielding allows it to work with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and reaches a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s. The conductor is copper and the cable gauge corresponds to AWG 24, which helps to maintain signal integrity over long runs. The jacket is made of halogen-free material (LSZH), a useful detail in spaces where smoke emission should be reduced in the event of a fire. At each end it features a male RJ-45 connector, so the cable plugs directly into network ports on computers, switches, routers or patch panels. As it is a 15 m cable, it covers usual distances between two points on the same floor without the need for intermediate splices.
