Description
The Vertiv Avocent LongView KVM extender, in blue, works as a transmitter and receiver to carry the video, audio and control signal remotely. Its VGA video port and its USB connection for keyboard and mouse allow the remote equipment to be managed as if it were local, with a single display supported. The connectivity technology is wired and it supports Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 cables, with a maximum transfer distance of 300 m. It reaches a maximum analogue resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and offers audio support. Its simplified installation and plug-and-play function speed up commissioning. The housing is made of metal and allows rack mounting, and it has CE, FCC class A and UL certification.
