Description
The Transcend MTS420 is a 240 GB SSD with an M.2 form factor and Serial ATA III interface. It reaches a read speed of 500 MB/s and a write speed of 430 MB/s over a 6 Gbit/s transfer rate. Its memory is 3D NAND, with 40,000 IOPS in 4 KB random read and 75,000 IOPS in 4 KB random write. It is designed for laptops and supports an operating voltage of 3.3 V. It offers a mean time between failures of 2,000,000 hours and a TBW rating of 80. It is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows 8, as well as with Linux kernel 2.6.31. It includes RAID compatibility, S.M.A.R.T. support, TRIM support and low-density parity check LDPC, with dimensions of 22 mm in width, 42 mm in height and 3.58 mm in depth.
