Description
The StarTech.com network Keystone coupler connects two Ethernet patch leads directly, as it has two female RJ-45 connectors that link the ends of the cables without the need for intermediate equipment. It supports Cat6 category cables, making it suitable for network installations working with this type of structured cabling. Its flat construction facilitates mounting in Keystone plates and panels, a common format in racks and surface boxes. This white coupler blends discreetly into faceplates and trunking of the same tone. Weighing 4 g, it barely adds any load to the installation and does not strain the patch lead connectors. The unit is certified in accordance with CE, REACH and RoHS, so it meets the regulatory requirements applicable to this type of passive component. It is a simple part to replace and to fit into any cabling system that uses the Keystone standard.
