Description
Connect an IDE hard drive to a computer with a SATA port using this black StarTech.com adapter. It features a 7-pin male SATA connector along with a 15-pin one, and on the opposite side a 40-pin female IDE connector, a 44-pin one and an LP4, allowing 2.5in and 3.5in drives to be linked. Its JMicron JM20330 chipset handles the conversion between both interfaces. The adapter measures 78 x 26 x 101 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 104 g. It supports an operating temperature range of 5 to 80 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, with a relative humidity of between 8 and 90%. It has CE, FCC and REACH certification, as well as a RoHS certificate of compliance. The package includes a user manual.
