Description
The StarTech.com QSFP-40G-LR4-S QSFP+ module is an LR4-type transceiver with a QSFP+ interface that reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s and a maximum transfer distance of 10000 m. Its fibre optic connector is LC and it supports single mode fibre, with a transmission bandwidth of between 1270 nm and 1330 nm. It complies with the IEEE 802.3ba network standard and operates in full duplex system, with DDM digital diagnostics monitoring. The housing is aluminium, in silver, and its dimensions are 18.4 x 8.5 x 72 mm (width x height x depth) with a weight of 44 g. Its power consumption is 2.5 W and its mean time between failures is 1489426 h, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C. It is compatible with Cisco Firepower, ASR1000 and ASR9000, features hot-swap and has CE and RoHS certificates of conformity.
