Description
The StarTech.com Cat6a grey 5 m network patch cable is designed for high-performance Ethernet links. It achieves a data transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s over 10GBase-T cabling technology, with a frequency of 500 MHz that provides sufficient margin for demanding traffic. Its S/UTP (STP) shielding helps keep the signal stable in environments with interference. Both ends are fitted with male RJ-45 connectors, with a protective connector boot that prevents snagging when passing through conduits and racks. The conductor is 26 AWG stranded copper, with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket and CMG (CM) rating, suitable for in-wall installations. As it is Plug and Play, it is enough to plug it in for the equipment to recognise it. The whole assembly weighs 200 g, a convenient figure for carrying it in a tool bag.
