Description
This StarTech.com adapter converts the U.3 host interface of your system to connect an M.2 NVMe SSD via an M.2 output port, while maintaining compatibility with 2.5-inch format drives according to the SFF-TA-1001 standard. In red and for internal PC use, it works plug and play and offers S.M.A.R.T. support to monitor drive health. Its design achieves a mean time between failures of 12,368,734 hours and operates with an output voltage of 3.3 V and a current of 5 A, being compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS systems. Accredited with RoHS and TAA certificates, this internal converter is designed to integrate into systems requiring this specific interface.
