Description
The StarTech.com Cat6 network patch cord with male RJ-45 connectors at both ends is designed for high-performance Ethernet links. Its 15 m black cable features 24 AWG copper conductors and a halogen-free jacket, making it suitable for installations where reduced smoke emission is sought. It offers a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and a frequency of 650 MHz over 10GBase-T cabling technology, with U/UTP shielding. It supports Power over Ethernet, so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. Its weight of 554 g gives an idea of the robustness of the assembly. It features a protective boot on the connectors and strain relief to extend the service life of the patch cord in demanding installations. Being Plug and Play, simply plug it in to start working.
