Description
The Seagate Exos X24 is a 20 TB internal hard drive designed to be installed in a PC. It reaches a rotation speed of 7200 RPM and uses a Serial ATA III interface with a transfer rate of 6 Gbit/s, giving an average transfer rate of 285 MB/s and a sustained burst rate of 272 MiB/s. Its 512 MB buffer and a mean time between failures of 2500000 h make it an option for equipment that needs constant mass storage. The average latency is 4.16 ms, and its uncorrectable bit error rate remains below 1 per every 10^15 bits read. It incorporates rotational vibration sensors for environments with several drives in operation. As for power consumption, it operates at 5 / 12 V, with 8.9 W when reading, 7.1 W when writing and 6.3 W on standby. With a size of 3.5", it weighs 685 g and measures 101.8 x 26.1 x 147 mm (width x height x depth).
